Actor-turned-politician and TVK chief Vijay is holding a public meeting in Vijayamangalam, Erode district, today, operating under strict restrictions imposed by the local police. The event is limited to a precise two-hour window, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., to manage the large crowd effectively.
Elaborate arrangements have been meticulously planned to ensure public safety and smooth crowd movement. K.A. Sengottaiyan, TVK's chief coordinator, has overseen detailed security measures, including the deployment of approximately 1,500 police personnel and 40 CCTV cameras for continuous monitoring. Party coordinators are equipped with 40 walkie-talkies for seamless communication.
Medical preparedness is comprehensive, with 24 ambulances, 72 doctors, and 120 nurses stationed at the venue. Four fire engines from nearby stations are also on standby. To accommodate attendees, 80 acres of land have been designated for parking, and 14 exit routes are available for smooth dispersal.
Furthermore, 20 water tanks, distributed water bottles, and 20 mobile toilet locations have been arranged. Attendees require no pass or QR code for entry.
