Brett Lee credits Dennis Lillee

Brett Lee credited another fellow legendary pacer, Dennis Lillee, for showing him the path to greatness. Lee first met Lillee at a fast-bowling camp.

"You're the quickest here, but if you don't change your [bowling] action, in two years I reckon you'll have a broken back," Lee recalls Lillee saying. He ignored his advice at that time and said that when you're 16, you think you're invincible, but two years later, he broke his back.

Lee further added that throughout his whole career, Lillee has been incredible in modifying his action, changing his action and allowing him to play.

The pacer has won three ICC titles for Australia, including the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2006 and 2009.
