Angkrish Raghuvanshi is a right-handed batter who bowls left-arm orthodox spin and he represents Mumbai in the Indian domestic circuit. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was born on June 5, 2005 in Delhi. Angkrish Raghuvanshi comes from a family that has a rich history in sports. His mother represented India in basketball while his father is a Tennis player. His brother plays Tennis as well.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi started his cricketing journey in Gurgaon under the coaching of Mansoor Ali Khan. Later after being advised by his uncle who was a former opener of Mumbai in the Indian domestic circuit he went to Mumbai to train with Abhishek Nayar. After spending time with Nayar, Angkrish decided to shift to Mumbai as he saw more scope for growing as a player in Mumbai.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi won the Vijay Merchant Trophy in 2019. He went on and played important knocks for Mumbai and rose through the age-group ranks. The breakthrough tournament for Angkrish Raghuvanshi was the Under-19 Asia Cup 2021-22 where he was the top scorer for India U-19, scoring 268 runs and helping India U-19 clinch the title. Raghuvanshi began his domestic journey with the Mumbai senior side in 2023, making his debuts in both T20 and List A cricket during the season. His steady rise through the ranks continued the following year when he earned his first-class debut in 2024, further establishing himself as one of the promising young batters in Mumbai's domestic setup. He was handed a contract by Kolkata in the Indian Premier League for the 2024 season. The youngster contributed well in Kolkata's title-winning run and was picked up by them again for the 2025 season.
Raghuvanshi enjoyed a stellar 2025 IPL season, scoring 300 runs in 12 matches and establishing himself as a dependable option in the batting lineup. He carried that momentum into the domestic circuit with Mumbai in the 2025–26 Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he amassed 270 runs in seven games at an average of 45. Impressed by his continued growth and consistency, Kolkata Knight Riders showed faith in the youngster once again by retaining him ahead of the 2026 IPL season.
