Amite Hasan is a right-handed Bangladeshi wicketkeeper-batter who came through Bangladesh's Under-17 set-up before entering the senior domestic structure. Originally from Narayanganj, he moved his cricketing base under the guidance of Rajin Saleh and went on to represent Sylhet Division. Hasan has built a prolific red-ball and List A record in Bangladeshi domestic cricket. He announced himself on his first-class debut for Sylhet Division with a century during the 2019-20 National Cricket League.

Amite has since established himself as a heavy run-scorer in the format, going on to captain Sylhet Division, highlighted by a career-best 213 against Khulna Division and a season as the National Cricket League's leading run-scorer, when he finished with 785 runs and was named Player of the Series as Sylhet won their maiden NCL title. In 50-over cricket, he has featured in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League for teams including Shinepukur Cricket Club, Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity and Agrani Bank Cricket Club, and has continued to expand his short-format game alongside his long-format work.

Hasan earned his maiden call-up to the senior Bangladesh Test squad in April 2026 for the series against Pakistan, on the back of his sustained domestic run-scoring, though he had to wait for his cap. He made his Test debut in June 2026, in the one-off Test against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club, handed the gloves after Litton Das was ruled out through injury.
