He recently signed a new contract with the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr and also led Portugal to victory against Spain in the UEFA Nations League's final last summer. The World Cup remains the only major title missing in his career, and Ronaldo will look to win it next year.

Ronaldo, a five-time Champions League and Euro Cup winner, netted in each half at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium as Portugal made a great start in Group F. Joao Felix also scored twice, netting the opening goal of the match after just 10 minutes, and Joao Cancelo was also on target.

England 2-0 Andorra

England beat Andorra 2-0 at Villa Park in Birmingham to maintain their 100% record in qualifiers. Thomas Tuchel’s side is in first position of Group K with four consecutive victories after an own goal from Christian Garcia and a Declan Rice header. Harry Kane and other players left frustrated as the hosts dropped another disappointing performance under Tuchel.

The Three Lions made 10 changes to their squad, and there were some improvements in the gameplay, but the hosts still struggled against the 174th-ranked opposition. Garcia accidentally scored an own goal in the 25th minute to give England a 1-0 lead.

The hosts created more chances in the second half but failed to convert them. Andorra’s goalkeeper Iker Alvarez made two brilliant saves from close range to deny Eberechi Eze and Elliott Anderson. Rice scored from a header at the far post in the 67th minute from Reece James’ cross.

In another Group K fixture, Serbia beat Latvia 1-0 to move up to second position in the table. England will next face Serbia on Tuesday.
