New Delhi: The recent meet-up between Donald Trump and Elon Musk at the White House on Tuesday, alongside Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has raised eyebrows and sparked speculation about a potential reconciliation between the two. Earlier this year, the pair were embroiled in a high-profile dispute, making this meeting all the more noteworthy.

Trump is hosting the Saudi de facto ruler as Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman seeks to rehabilitate his global image and strengthen ties with Washington. Others at the dinner included Portugal’s soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.

Initially, Musk supported and funded Trump’s election campaign and emerged as a close advisor to his administration. He even led the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), overseeing cuts to federal funding and jobs. However, their association was short-lived.
