Some were rushing to pay for it, while others struggled to navigate through the crowd. The clip was shared on X by an account named UB1UB2 West London (Southall). It was captioned, "People stockpile rice after a Sainsbury's in Whitechapel put Laila Basmati rice on sale for 9.50." Netizens were quick to comment on the clip. Many were miffed at the crowd and their lack of patience. Others criticised the hoarding mentality. One person wrote, "I find this kind of greedy behaviour unbearable.
