Pakistan's Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, addresses cross-border militancy in the latest press briefing. Asim Munir issued a stern warning to Afghanistan's Taliban rulers and asked them to choose between supporting TTP or Pakistan, a report by PTI stated.

Munir also claimed that most of the militants infiltrating into Pakistan are Afghan nationals. Asim Munir made the remarks while addressing the National Ulema Conference in Islamabad on December 10. During the address, Asim Munir played the victim as he said Pakistan was facing the brunt of cross-border militancy.

Pakistan accuses the Afghan Taliban of " doing enough" to stop the militants from operating on its territory, mostly TTP.
