Watch: Gorilla pulls woman's hair; dramatic 'jealous' mate intervenes!

Kampala: A video of mountain gorillas from Uganda is making the internet laugh. The video revealed that even gorillas can be possessive of their partners. The amusing clip showed a mountain gorilla pulling the hair of a woman, who appeared with a camera. Within seconds, the second gorilla stepped in. Subsequently, the other gorilla released the woman's hair. What happened next was totally unexpected. The second gorilla, believed to be a female, dramatically slapped the other gorilla, resulting in an altercation. It seemed like the second gorilla was not happy with her mate's behaviour towards the woman.

The clip, shared on Instagram, had a lot of fans. While some called the gorilla jealous, others said she was teaching her mate some 'discipline'. One wrote, "The wife was asking, ‘Why are you teasing strange women?’" The video garnered 212K likes.
