A deadly fire engulfed several high rise buildings in Hong Kong on Wednesday afternoon. The fire has claimed at least 55 lives so far and injured hundreds of people. The police have arrested three suspects in the matter so far. The worst blaze in the city in several decades blazed an 8 building complex which has 2,000 apartment blocks. Notably, Hong Kong has some of the most densely populated residential buildings and skyscrapers. Many of the residents were elderly, which made the job very difficult for the evacuators. The authorities have launched a probe into the matter.
