Watch: Japanese man speaks fluent Hindi, Indian tourists stunned

Tokyo: A video featured the rare sight of a Japanese man fluently communicating in Hindi. The clip was shared on Instagram by content creator Namaste Kohei. After spotting a group of tourists, the content creator approached one of the men from the group and asked him where he was travelling from. The man responded that he was from India. Kohei then started speaking in Hindi. The stunned Indian man called his wife to join the conversation. Soon another Indian tourist also joined in. The Indian tourists were intrigued by the Japanese man's linguistic abilities. Kohei told him that he learned Hindi from books and even stayed in Delhi's GK area for a while. Further, the tourists told the Japanese man about their experience in Japan. They added that it was a bit difficult to find vegetarian food options. The clip garnered a lot of love on social media. Netizens were happy to hear Kohei's Hindi. Many desis lauded the Japanese man in the comments.
