Man feeds baby raw milk directly from cow’s udder; viral video sparks outrage

An undated video showing a baby being fed raw milk directly from a cow’s udder has gone viral, sparking outrage and concerns over the child's safety. The clip, shared on X (formerly Twitter), shows a man smiling as he holds the baby to drink unpasteurised milk straight from the cow. The video, with over 9.8 lakh views, triggered a storm of criticism online, with many calling it reckless and dangerous.

Kerala-based hepatologist Dr Cyriac Abby Philips, aka The Liver Doc, also reposted the video, warning of life-threatening consequences. He explained that raw milk can carry E coli, which may cause severe cramps, bloody diarrhoea and even kidney failure in children. Calling it an act of "human stupidity," Dr Philips slammed such practices.
