Wilmington, Delaware – A police officer was killed during a shooting incident at the Department of Motor Vehicles building in Wilmington on Tuesday, according to police statements. Authorities confirmed that the suspect involved in the shooting is dead.
Delaware State Police initially reported an active shooter situation at the DMV building shortly after 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. However, within a short period, police declared that the active shooter threat had been neutralised, and a suspect was apprehended. Further reports clarified that the suspect later died.
