Hindu groups, spearheaded by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), staged a protest near the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi over alleged atrocities against Hindus and the lynching of Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh.

The demonstration saw protesters chanting slogans such as Bharat Mata Ki Jai and reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, a Hindu devotional hymn. During the protest, demonstrators attempted to jump police barricades, intensifying the atmosphere.

A speaker at the event addressed the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, stating that the nation would be "wiped off the map" if the alleged persecution of Hindus continued, and also issued a warning to "mullahs of Bangladesh."

Furthermore, the speaker criticised opposition figures in India, specifically naming Mamata Banerjee and Rahul Gandhi, in connection with the situation of Hindus in Bangladesh. The protest underscored heightened diplomatic tensions and concerns regarding the safety of religious minorities.
