AP TET 2025 registration begins; apply at tet2dsc.apcfss.in

The AP TET exam is scheduled to be held on December 10. The exam will be conducted in two sessions- 9:30 AM to 12 noon and 2:30 PM to 5 PM. The AP TET 2025 admit card will be issued on December 3.

New Delhi: The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh has started the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) October 2025 session registration process today, October 24. The AP TET 2025 application link is active on the official website, tet2dsc.apcfss.in. The last date to register for the AP TET October session is November 23, 2025.

The AP TET exam is scheduled to be held on December 10. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 will be from 9:30 AM to 12 noon and session 2 from 2:30 PM to 5 PM. Those who are aspiring to become teachers in government, aided and private schools for Class 1 to Class 8 can apply and appear for AP TET. The AP TET 2025 admit card will be available for download from December 3, 2025.

AP TET October 2025 exam will include four papers- Paper 1A, Paper 1B, Paper 2A, and Paper 2B. For teaching job in Class 1 to Class 5, candidates need to appear for Paper 1A exam and those seeking to teach in Class 6 to Class 8 need to appear for Paper 2A exam. To teach in special schools, separate papers (1B and 2B) are scheduled.

AP TET 2025 application fee

The APTET 2025 application fee is Rs 1,000 for each paper. Candidates need to make payment of the application fee by November 23. The fee needs to be paid through the official website.

AP TET passing marks

To qualify the AP TET 2025 October session exam, candidates from the Open Category (OC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) need to secure a minimum of 60 per cent marks. For the Backward Class (BC) category candidates the minimum pass percentage is 50 per cent.

Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and ex-servicemen should obtain at least 40 per cent marks.
