Mumbai: The Odyssey, helmed by Christopher Nolan, is one of the most highly anticipated movies to be released next year. Fans, awaiting a peek into Nolan's masterpiece, caught a glimpse of the movie's prologue soon after its theatrical debut. Fans took to social media to share their initial reactions. 

Variety reported that the 6-minute trailer of the movie was showcased in IMAX theatres ahead of the re-release of Sinners and One Battle After Another. Fans, who were present in the theatre at the time, were the first to see the prologue. Soon, it spread online, drawing reactions from several people. One person commented, "Saw The Odyssey prologue and wow just wow. The cinematography, scale and score r amazing. Anyone else notice the Athena mention from one of the soldiers?"

Another individual wrote, "Well, The Odyssey trailer was shown for specific showings…and still has not officially released (sic)." 

A third person stated, "The 5-minute-plus Odyssey prologue has leaked online, and it looks intense and packed with action." Another individual commented, "The Odyssey Prologue looks absolutely EPIC. This being the first film to be shot with #IMAX Film Cameras for the entire runtime, should look insane. The sound design adds to the tension. It seems #ChristopherNolan Cooked and Cooked Hard." 

About the Odyssey 

The Odyssey is an adaptation of Homer’s Greek epic of the same name. It features Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson,  Matt Damon, Jon Bernthal, and Charlize Theron. The movie is all set to release in July 2026.
