New Delhi: Delhi-NCR witnessed showers on Friday morning. While Gurugram saw heavy rains, Noida and Delhi had light showers early in the morning. The temperatures in the entire region have fallen considerably and are expected to go down further after the rain. The rains were a surprise and caught many offguard, amidst the already intense chilly winter.
The sudden downpour might bring down the temperature in the region. This may mean more intense weather conditions. Dense fog is already disrupting normal life in the region.
The IMD had predicted that Delhi-NCR would receive only light rains, unlike Gurugram, which saw very heavy downpour. The rains are also expected to hit only isolated pockets and not in all parts of Delhi.
