Cyberabad Police invite online applications for New Year events on Dec 31

The applications have to be submitted before December 21, 2025 online and and late/physical applications will not be accepted.

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police have issued a note calling on organisers within Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits to submit applications online for their New Year events on December 31, 2025.

The applications have to be submitted before December 21, 2025 online at cybpms.telangana.gov.in and late/physical applications will not be accepted, the note read. Separate forms are available for ticketed and non-ticketed events.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty suggested that the general public should celebrate the New Year peacefully and without causing any inconvenience to others.

He also warned that drunk driving tests will be conducted extensively on the night of December 31 and that strict action will be taken if people create chaos.

He suggested that safety arrangements and CCTV cameras should be set up at the places where events are held to prevent fire accidents.

Drunk driving cases:

Meanwhile, Cyberabad and Hyderabad traffic police have booked over 980 people for drunk driving in a special two-day drive from November 28-29.

In Hyderabad, 552 drivers were apprehended for driving under the influence of alcohol over the weekend. The drive was to curb late night crashes and implement deterrence. Out of those, 10 of them had Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) above 300 mg/100 ml.
