The information on zero major incidents of drunk driving in Hyderabad was shared by city police chief V.C. Sajjanar. He praised the effort that the police put into pulling off the success. He also lauded stakeholders and citizens for keeping the roads in the city safe on the occasion. He said that mishaps were avoided due to strong enforcement drives against drunk driving and effective awareness campaigns.
Sajjanar urged citizens to make Hyderabad a safer and truly global city, and said, "This didn’t happen by chance. Awareness worked, responsibility won, and public cooperation made the difference."
