Jubilee Hills bypoll: Hyderabad Traffic police issue advisory; diversions in place for nominations

Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a series of diversions for Friday starting at 10 am in Yousufguda, Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor stadium and Krishna Nagar as contesting candidates of various political parties are expected to take out processions/rallies. The diversions will be in place till 4 pm. 

Moderate traffic congestion is anticipated in the areas around KVBR Indoor Stadium due to the movement of participants and their vehicles. Commuters are advised to take other routes and avoid travel towards KVBR Indoor Stadium.

Diversion points are as follows:

Traffic from Maitrivanam junction towards Yousufguda basti, Rahamat nagar, Karmikanagar and Borabanda bus stop will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards Krishnakanth Park – GTS Temple – Kalyan Nagar – Mothi Nagar – Borabanda Bus stop.

Traffic from Maitrivanam junction and proceeding towards Jubilee Hills check post via Yousufguda check post and Madhapur side will be diverted at Yousufguda basti  towards RBI quarters – Krishna Nagar junction – Jubilee Hills check post.

Traffic from JH check post and Venkatagiri towards KVBR stadium will be diverted towards Srinagar Colony – Panjagutta.

Traffic from Borabonda bus stop towards Rahamath Nagar and Yousufguda check post will be diverted at Prime Garden Function Hall, Sriram Nagar X Roads towards Midland Bakery – GTS Colony – Kalyan Nagar junction – Vengalrao Nagar – Umesh Chandra statue U turn – ICICI U turn – Maitrivanam junction.

Traffic from Panjagutta towards Krishna Nagar via Srinagar Colony will be diverted at Srinagar colony park towards MJ college road – SNT Junction – left turn – NFCL.

Parking locations for public:

Metro Parking (Janakamma Thota 1 & 2), Yousufguda

Savera Function Hall and Mahmood function hall , for four wheeler parking.

Congress candidate to file nomination today:

Congress candidate Naveen Yadav will file his first set of nominations on Friday at Shaikpet Tahsildar's office and will take out a huge rally from Yousufguda check post. Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Gaddam Vivek, AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud will accompany the candidate for the nomination program. AIMIM party chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi is likely to attend the program as well.
