Software Engineer dies in Hyderabad ORR car crash

Hyderabad: A software engineer working at Infosys died in a road accident on the Outer Ring Road near Abdullapurmet on Sunday midnight, reports aid.

The 25-year-old woman identified as Sowmya Reddy died while seven of her colleagues were injured, when they were returning from Sarala Maisamma temple in an Innova SUV.

When they reached Balijaguda village limits in Abdullapurmet mandal, the vehicle lost control and hit the divider in high speed. The car overturned resulting in injuries to all eight people in the SUV.

The injured include Nanda Kishore, Veerendra, Pranish, Aravind, Sagar, Jhansi and Shruti and were initially shifted to Hayathnagar for treatment. However, Sowmya Reddy and Nanda Kishore were later moved to a neuro hospital in Uppal. Sowmya Reddy died while undergoing treatment, police said.
