New Delhi: In a shocking incident reported from Mumbai, a woman has alleged that she was held at gunpoint and stripped. She said that some senior officials from a pharmaceutical company allegedly made obscene videos of her and took photographs, after stripping her. They threatened to leak the photographs and videos to the public.
According to reports the incident happened on January 18, 2023. In her complaint, the woman claimed that the heinous act was committed by the Managing Director and Founder Member of Franco India Pharmaceutical Company, Joy John Pascal Post, along with other senior officials of the firm.
The Mumbai Police have booked 6 senior officials of the company in the matter. Narrating her ordeal, the woman said that she visited the second-floor office of the Pharma company located on Dr E Moses Road between 11.30 am and 1 pm on that fateful day. She said that once she reached there, she was threatened with a gun and her burqa was removed.
The men then asked her to remove all her clothes. Forced to comply, the harassment however did not stop there. After she was stripped naked, the company officials took photographs and videos of her and threatened to leak it in public. They also verbally abused the woman, she has said in her complaint, which has been lodged at the NM Joshi Marg Police Station.
The Mumbai Police have booked all 6 officials under sections 354A, 354B, 326, 509, 506 and 66A of the IT Act and are investigating the matter further. So far no arrests have been made in this case.
The victim runs a photo frame and gifting business in the city, according to a Times of India report.
