New Delhi: The wait for CBSE board exams 2026 is over. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin the first session of class 10 board exams for the academic year 2025-26 from February 17 onwards. The written exams will be held between February 17 and March 9, 2026. The CBSE Class 10th 2nd examinations will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026.
Social Science is one of the compulsory subjects in Class 10 and plays a significant role in obtaining the perfect score. One should note that the CBSE Class 10 Social Science Exam (Subject Code 087) will be held on March 7, 2026. The written exam will be held in a single shift between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm.
Students can obtain a perfect score in Social Science by getting familiar with the exam pattern, weightage and important topics. One can solve previous year question papers, which helps in understanding the exam pattern but also improves time management.
