New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the examination schedule for private candidates for Senior Secondary (Class 12) and Class 10 examination 2025-26. It has released the CBSE private candidate 2026 notification on the official website at cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE has announced that the written examination for private candidates will be held along with Board's main examination in the months of February/ March/ April 2026. The CBSE private candidates form 2025 will be released on September 9, 2025. Students can register under the categories of private, essential repeat, compartment and improvement of performance.

Step 4: Fill in the CBSE Private Candidate registration form with all details
Step 5: Pay the application fee
Step 6: Scan and upload all the required documents
Step 7: Submit the registration form
Step 8: Download and keep the hard copy of application form for future need
Students are advised to refer to the official notification of CBSE Private Candidate Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for details regarding the syllabus, choosing subjects, examination centre, admit card, payment of fee, and issuance of marksheet & certificate. The Board will be issuing a new roll number for the 2026 examination.
