School students studying in Class 9 to Class 12 who fulfil the necessary eligibility requirements can apply online for the scholarship through the official website, sbiashascholarship.co.in.

New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26 application process has started today, September 19. School students studying in Class 9 to Class 12 who fulfil the necessary eligibility requirements can apply online for the scholarship through the official website, sbiashascholarship.co.in.

The Asha Scholarship provide financial support to academically talented students from low-income families to pursue education without financial obstacles. Eligible students across India can apply for the Asha Scholarship till November 15, 2025.

The selection is based on academic merit and financial background. The initial shortlisting is based on academic performance and financial background. Next, a telephonic interview with the shortlisted candidates will be conducted, followed by document verification. The scholarship amount will be directly transferred into the bank account of the selected student. Scholarship amount of Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,00,000 based on the category of the applicant will be provided.

SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26 eligibility

To apply for the scholarship, candidates need to fulfil the requirements below. Students need to ensure that all documents are clear and properly attested.

  • Applicant needs to be an Indian national.
  • Applicants must be studying in Class 9 to Class 12 in the current academic year.
  • A minimum of 75 per cent marks or above is required for applicants to have in their previous academic year.
  • The gross annual family income must be up to Rs 3,00,000.
  • A provision of 10 per cent relaxation for students belonging to SC and ST (percentage of marks is 67.50 per cent, CGPA needs to be 6.30). 
  • For females, 50 per cent of slots are reserved.
  • 50 per cent are reserved for SC and ST category students(25 per cent for SC and 25 per cent for ST)

SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025: Steps to apply

  • On the homepage of the official website, click the 'Apply Now' link.
  • Log in with the registered ID and land on the ‘Application Form Page’.
  • If not registered, complete the registration with email, mobile number or Google account.
  • The ‘SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26’ application form page will be displayed on the screen.
  • Click on 'Start Application' to begin the application process.
  • Fill in the required details in the form with accurate information.
  • Upload all relevant documents.
  • Accept the 'Terms and Conditions' and click on 'Preview' to review the application.
  • If all the details filled correctly and show on the preview screen, then click on the 'Submit' to complete the application process.
