New Delhi: The popularity and reach of Bhojpuri cinema are growing extraordinarily with time. Not only in India, but Bhojpuri films also enjoy a huge viewership abroad. As a result, actors and actresses who feature in these movies now have a massive following on social media as well.

In the Bhojpuri film industry, numerous films are made every year. However, many believe that some of these are either copied from or inspired by Bollywood. Baaghi

Released in 2016, the Bollywood film featured Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. It turned out to be a commercial success at the Box Office. In the Bhojpuri industry, there is also a film of the same name, starring Khesari Lal Yadav and Kajal Raghwani.

Border

The JP Dutta directorial, which took the silver screen by storm in 1997, is still loved by cinema lovers of all age groups. Its Bhojpuri remake brought together an ensemble cast, including Dinesh Lal Yadav 'Nirahua', Aamrapali Dubey, Pravesh Lal Yadav, Shubhi Sharma, Vikrant Singh, Sushil Singh, Awdhesh Mishra, Sanjay Pandey, Aditya Ojha, Gaurav Jha, Vijay Lal Yadav and Vishal Singh.

Gadar

Directed by Anil Sharma, the movie is considered one of the biggest blockbusters in Hindi cinema. Apparently, the film had a huge fan following among non-Hindi-speaking audiences as well. Its Bhojpuri version featured superstar Pawan Singh in the lead role.

Vivah

Moviegoers are well aware of Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao's heartwarming chemistry in Bollywood's Vivah. The film was also remade in Bhojpuri, with Pradeep Pandey headlining the project.

Raja Babu

The Bhojpuri version of Govinda's much-loved film Raja Babu featured Dinesh Lal Yadav, Amrapali Dubey, Monalisa, and Sanjay Pandey. It was directed by Manjul Thakur, with Anjana Akhilesh Singh serving as the producer.
