While Dhurandhar emerged as a record-breaking Indian winner, Hollywood’s Anaconda dominated internationally. Here’s how each film performed in the first few days of 2026.
The big-ticket Bollywood action drama is rewriting box office records. Dhurandhar has collected Rs 1182.25 crore worldwide, including a massive Rs 759.5 crore net in India. Its strong storyline and star power made it the top grosser of the month and a clear blockbuster success.
The Hollywood thriller roared loudly in global markets, earning Rs 450 crore worldwide. Though collections in India were low at just Rs 5.83 crore, the film pulled huge audiences overseas with Rs 205 crore. Its visual effects and action scenes helped sustain its international dominance.
This Christmas romance connected well with Indian viewers, earning Rs 45.75 crore globally. In India, it made Rs 31.3 crore net and Rs 8.5 crore overseas. Audiences appreciated its music and emotional chemistry, making it a modest success amid heavy competition.
The Malayalam drama impressed critics and viewers with soulful storytelling. It collected Rs 92 crore worldwide, including Rs 44.95 crore in India and Rs 39 crore overseas. Its strong overseas response highlights Mollywood’s growing presence across international markets.
The patriotic Bollywood drama had a slow but steady start, grossing Rs 19.75 crore worldwide. Of this, Rs 15.15 crore came from India and Rs 1.75 crore from overseas markets. The film attracted niche audiences and may improve with strong word of mouth in the coming weeks.
