Mumbai: Indian filmmaker Suneel Darshan cherished the phenomenal dancer Madhumati. He remembered her long career and her contributions to the industry.

"My earliest memories of Madhumati Ji come from the iconic song ‘Huzurewala…’ which was the No.1 Binaca Geetmala song of the year 1966, composed by OP Nayyar for my Dad’s movie Yeh Raat Phir Na Aayegi. It was picturized on Helen Ma’am, Madhumatiji & Manohar Deepak, who was also her husband, besides being an actor and dance choreographer," said Suneel.
