Karuppa teaser out: Suriya is lawyer by day, vigilante by night | WATCH
New Delhi: On the occasion of actor Suriya’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming film, Karuppa, dropped the first teaser of the much-anticipated film. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film shows Suriya as Saravanan, the man who lives a double life. He is an advocate by day and a mysterious vigilante by night.
The teaser shows Suriya stepping into the courtroom in a black shirt and shoti in a rural setup which draws direct reference to the guardian deity, Karuppa Samy. The teaser also draws reference from Ghajini and features some vibrant visuals in a rural backdrop. The clip also shows some high-octane action sequences, promising an engaging storyline.
The movie also stars Trisha Krishnan as a female lead. The supporting cast include Yogi Babu, Indrans, Swasika, Sshivada, Natty, Supreeth Reddyu, and Anagha Maya Ravi.
Though release date has not been announced yet, it is expected that the film will release around Diwali 2025.
