New Delhi: When it comes to action movies in Bollywood, Sunny Deol is one actor who has time and again elevated the entertainment quotient through his remarkable performances. In his splendid career spanning more than four decades, the 67-year-old star has been part of several memorable films, garnering many accolades. 2. Damini: This Rajkumar Santoshi directorial is considered one of Bollywood's best women-centric films. In this crime drama, Sunny portrayed the character of a lawyer on a mission to get justice.
3. Border: Directed by renowned filmmaker JP Dutta, the movie was based on the events of the Battle of Longewala. Sunny essayed the role of Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri. It opened to positive reviews and drew significant footfall to theatres. A sequel to Border is currently in the works.
4. Indian: Produced by Dharmendra under Vijayta Films, Indian was believed to be a remake of the Tamil film Vallarasu. It also featured Shilpa Shetty, Danny Denzongpa, Raj Babbar, Mukesh Rishi and Rahul Dev in pivotal roles.
5. Gadar: Directed by Anil Sharma, this film was set during the Partition of India in 1947. Sunny brought to life the story of an Indian Sikh truck driver who falls in love with a Muslim girl from an influential Pakistani family.
