Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari trailer out: Varun Dhawan film will remind you of Pyar Toh Hona Hi Tha | WATCH

New Delhi: Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s much-anticipated movie, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’s trailer is finally out, and it's all about a big fat Indian wedding, jealous exes, chaos, and confusion. However, the trailer will remind you of Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s 1998 film, Pyar Toh Hona Hi Tha, where Ajay and Kajol try to make Rahul and his fiancée jealous.

The trailer of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari shows Sunny (played by Varun Dhawan) meeting Tulsi (Janhvi Kapoor), who hatch a plan to break their respective exes' wedding by making them jealous. The clip begins with Sunny proposing to his girlfriend Ananya (Sanya Malhotra) in Baahubali style. He then goes to Tulsi and tells her that Ananya is getting married to her ex, Vikram (played by Rohit Saraf), and so the game begins.

From attempting to break Ananya and Vikram’s wedding to mocking middle-class and creating romantic reels, they eventually fall in love, bringing a twist. The movie seems to be an entertaining and fun ride with full drama and laughter but it does remind you of the storyline of Pyar Toh Hona Hi Tha.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film is scheduled to release on October 2, 2025. The movie also features Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma.
