New Delhi: Tamannaah Bhatia is one of those actresses who are usually in the news for some or the other reason. Sometimes for the rumours of dating someone, other times for being a part of some controversial movies or songs. In a recent interview with Lallantop, the Lust Story actress Tamannah Bhatia denied all the rumours about dating the cricketer Virat Kohli. She said that she had barely met the actor before or after the shoot. She further added that they only met for a commercial shoot, after which they have never talked with each other.
When asked about the rumour that said she had been married to Abdul Razzaq, she clarified, "It is very awkward when the media links you to someone you have absolutely no connection with." She further stated that the internet just connects her with anyone, and that she had no idea how this particular rumour. Tamannaah said that Abdul Razzaq is already married and has two to three children.
Tamannah also spoke about her recent song 'Aaj Ki Raat' from the movie Stree and defended it. She said that everyone loves the song. Also, people forget the movies, but the song's spirit never goes off and is remembered for ages to come. When asked about the impact of the song on children, to which she said that kids don't understand the lyrics but vibe on the music and tunes of the song. She further added that various mothers have called her and told her that their children eat food very easily when the song is played. Children literally enjoy the songs, and it's easy for the mothers to feed the children while this song being played.
The actress also explained a scene from the film Baahubali and said that the audience misunderstood the scene. The scene was reported as 'the rape of Avantika', which was not actually what it means. She said, ''It wasn’t rape. It was about a woman reconnecting with herself through a man who admired her." In the film, Prabhas, who was playing the role of Shividu, applied natural makeup on Avantika, who was a warrior. But this was looked at as a man controlling a woman, which was not actually the case.
Tamannaah said that it was the director who told me that Avantika is a wounded feminine spirit, and it is because of her struggles, but deep down, she wants to feel loved and beautiful. And when bangles and Bindis are worn by her, then she realises how her femininity describes her inner beauty.
She also spoke about sex and said that in Indian society, it is understood as an impure thing and a taboo. But it is the natural and pure process through which all of us exist.
