New Delhi: John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar starrer Tehran’s trailer is out. The movie is inspired by true events which shows the simmering global tension between Israel and Iran. Directed by Arun Gopalan, it shows the shadowy world of international espionage where one man’s allegiance could tip the balance between loyalty and betrayal.
The movie draws inspiration from the 2012 bomb blast near the Israeli Embassy in Delhi that spiralled into complex diplomatic ripples.
The trailer shows John Abraham in the role of ACP Rajeev Kumar, who is pulled into a covert operation where the lines of right and wrong get blurred. However, he pursues the mission without government’s support and travels to Tehran.
Directed by Arun Gopalan, the film will have a direct-to-OTT release on Zee5 on August 14.
It also stars Madhurima Tuli, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Neeru Bajwa in pivotal roles. The film is bankrolled by Maddock Films Production.
