Urvashi Rautela's Dior bag, jewellery worth Rs 70 lakh stolen from London airport

 New Delhi: Actress Urvashi Rautela’s luxury baggage, packed with jewellery worth Rs 70 lakh has been stolen from the belt at the London Gatwick Airport, according to News18 report. The actress revealed that the incident happened when she was travelling from Mumbai to Wimbledon and further requested the London police and Emirates Airways to look into it and help her retrieve the bag.

She narrated the incident in her long Instagram post. She also questioned the airport security measures and expressed her disappointment over the lack of assistance from the airport officials.

Taking to her Instagram account, she wrote, “Injustice tolerated is injustice repeated. Our @wimbledon @dior brown baggage was stolen from the belt at @gatwickairport after flying @emirates from Mumbai during #Wimbledon. baggage tag & ticket above. Urgently requesting help to retrieve it.”

Detailing the incident, a statement from her team reads, “As a Platinum Emirates Member and a global artist attending Wimbledon, I am deeply disheartened to report that our Christian Dior brown baggage was stolen from the baggage belt at London Gatwick Airport, following our Emirates flight from Mumbai. Despite holding our baggage tag and ticket, the bag went missing directly from the belt area—an alarming breach of airport security. This matter is not only about a lost bag—it’s about accountability, safety, and dignity for all travellers.”

However, this wasn’t the first time she complained about her things being stolen. In 2023, she attended India vs Pakistan match and claimed that she lost her 24-carat gold iPhone at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Earlier this month, Urvashi was spotted attending the women’s singles final match at the Wimbledon championships. For the special occasion, she was seen clad in an ivory midi-length dress teamed up with her Hermes handbag decorated with four different Labubu dolls.
