Tanushree Dutta's career began in 2004 when she won the Femina Miss India Universe pageant. The actress's career's best Hindi movies were from 2005 to 2010. Her best movies include Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Bhagam Bhag, Dhol, Chocolate, Good Bad Boy, Risq, Raqeeb, and several others.
Tanushree Dutta was the one who started Me too movement in India. In 2018, she gave an interview to Zoom TV where she revealed that Nana Patekar had harassed her on the film set in 2009. When she was shooting for the movie Horn Ok Pleassss. And from then on, many actresses came forward to report about their harassment issues in the Bollywood Industry. In an interview given in 2013, the actress said that she was so traumatised after the harassment that she went for spirituality.
Tanushree Dutta's spiritual journey began with living in an ashram for more than a year. She lived away from stardom for a long period of time. On her Instagram handle she shared her transformative journey. She even went to Ladakh for Buddhist meditation.
