New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan's movie War 2 was released in theatres on Friday (August 14), and we are sure most of you have watched the movie. Whereas some of you are yet planning whether to watch it or not. Some of you must be waiting for the reviews, while a few of you must be waiting to know the box office collection. While the reviews have not been positive about the War 2 but the film still managed to earn Rs 51.5 crore on its first day of theatrical release. On the second day, the film is estimated to earn Rs 56 crore, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk. This early estimate by Sacnilk can be true because of films being released during the long weekends. The other reason is the overhype created about the film by its makers and actors.
The film has already crossed Rs 50 crores on its first day. Its second-day collection will lead it to cross the Rs 100 crores mark. With the two-day collection, the movie's total grossings will lead to Rs 108 crore. The film had an overall 51.52 per cent Hindi Occupancy on Friday, August 15, 2025. The film's morning shows covered 27.16 per cent while the afternoon shows led to 58.71 per cent occupancy. Evening shows had an occupancy of 63.86 per cent. Whereas night shows had 56.36 per cent of occupancy.
The film War 2 has been released in theatres on August 14. It stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani. It is a high-octane action thriller movie which shows Hrithik Roshan as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, who returns for another mission against a new villain played by Jr NTR. The film also went through several CBFC cuts and has finally been approved for release.
