War 2 vs Coolie Day 7 Box Office collections revealed – Which film is leading?

New Delhi: It's been a week since Rajinikanth and Hrithik Roshan's films have been released in the theatres. War 2 and Coolie, both films, have been heavily hyped before their release. It was because of the star-studded cast of both the movies. While War 2 had two big events before released, Rajinikanth starring in Coolie was sufficient for the film to be watched, and being overhyped. So whatever the case may be, the good news for both films is that they are performing quite well at the box office as compared to the reviews received. The film has collected Rs 8.35 crore on its Day 6, whereas on its seventh day, Thursday (August 20), the film is expected have low collections, compared to its day 6 at the ticket window. As per the reports on industry tracker Sacnilk, the film is likely to mint Rs 0.3 crore. This totals its earnings to Rs 193.15 crore India net. The film's collection has been notably declining since its day 6, and it seems like the mouth publicity factor didn't work for YRF this time. However, the movie is expected to at least earn Rs 200 crore in India. Meanwhile, the film has earned Rs 283.3 crore worldwide. Now let's see what will happen in the coming days.

Rajinikanth's movie Coolie, which was also very much overhyped, is not performing very well in India. But it has managed to cross Rs 200 crore in a week's time after its theatrical release. In India, on the 6th day of its theatrical release, the film grossed Rs 9.51 crore. While on the seventh day, the film is expected to collect Rs 0.22 crore, as per the reports of Sacnilk. With this, the film's collection totals up to Rs 216.23 crore. At the worldwide box office, the film has earned Rs 403 crore.
