Bengaluru: A woman from Bengaluru opened up about feeling invisible at home and work. She claimed that everything and everyone around her felt cold. Redditors took to the comments with encouraging words. They consoled her and assured she would feel better.

In the Reddit post, the woman stated that she was offered a full-time job after the completion of an internship. She went on to reveal that her friends lived away from her and she visited them from time to time. However, she felt unseen at work as well as her PG. " I work in a VERY male dominated team, I’m the only woman. So in my office, the guys treat me very differently. They do not acknowledge me or do not include me in trivial things ,which doesn’t sound very sad but there was a guy who was in my college and joined my team with the same designation as me, he also got converted so they treat him very differently and that hurts kinda," said the woman in the post.

To make matters worse, nobody spoke to her in her PG. "I feel like a ghost in my pg because my roommates dont talk to me. Even if I’m crying or laughing or shouting, they wont bat an eye. I feel like I might have a breakdown," said the woman.

Kind Redditors tried their best to support the female techie with their good words. "You need to make new friends. If you’re living in a pg, you should try interacting with other people there. That’s how I made a lot of friends when I first came to Bangalore, and now my current flatmate is also someone I met at that pg," said one.

Many shared their experiences. Others suggested different ways to meet and socialise in Bengaluru. "Just say 'what maadi yesterday' and see where the conversation goes, may be they make fun of what you said, so what, do it again and keep doing bro....," said one.
