Patna: Ahead of the new cabinet formation, likely on November 20, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and tendered his resignation. During the meeting, he also urged the governor to dissolve the Assembly.

JDU and BJP Legislature Party meetings tomorrow
A meeting of the JDU Legislature Party has been called for tomorrow in Patna. Apart from this, a meeting of the BJP Legislature Party has been called on November 19. All parties will first hold their own meetings, followed by a joint meeting of the NDA. The leader of the legislative party will then be elected. Nitish Kumar will remain as Chief Minister till November 19. During this time, he will continue to handle the regular administrative work of the state.
Discussions on for formation of new government
The term of the current Bihar Assembly ends on November 22. It will be necessary to form a new government before that time. It is because of this that the new government will be formed on November 20.
Currently, discussions are underway on the formula for ministerial appointments. The distribution of ministerial quotas has not yet been finalized. However, it is being said that one minister will be made for every 6 MLAs.
