Delhi BMW Crash: Good Samaritans Van Seized, Driver Faces Financial Hardship
A controversy has emerged following a fatal BMW crash in Delhi. Mohammad Gulfam, a cab driver, transported crash victim Navjot Singh to Nulife Hospital. Gulfam subsequently claimed that Delhi Police seized his van as part of their investigation, leaving him without his primary source of income. He stated that he was regularly summoned to the police station and that his van remained impounded.
However, Delhi Police have denied seizing the vehicle. Gulfam, a resident of Sultanpuri, encountered the accident near Dhaula Kuan while returning from Faridabad. He stated that while others filmed the incident, he chose to help the injured.
The investigation into the crash continues, focusing on the driver Gaganpreet who faces accusations of trying to hide evidence. The deceased's son, Navnoor Singh, believes his father might have survived had he been taken to a closer hospital. Gaganpreet allegedly transported them to a hospital 19km away.
