The Hindu Samaj Party recently organised a significant protest in Lucknow, drawing attention to what it termed relentless atrocities against minority communities in Bangladesh. Demonstrators gathered on the streets, raising fierce slogans to demand justice for Hindus who have been targeted in a series of brutal attacks across Bangladesh.

The protest was specifically fuelled by incidents such as the lynching of 27-year-old Dipu Chandra Das in Mymensingh, alongside another killing of a Hindu man, which have sparked outrage internationally. Protesters burnt an effigy of Bangladesh's interim head of government, Muhammad Yunus, and called for the Indian government to take robust action to safeguard minorities in Bangladesh.

They also urged a complete ban on Bangladeshi players participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL). India's External Affairs Ministry has officially acknowledged the violence against Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists in Bangladesh as a matter of grave concern.

The Ministry stated that thousands of such violent incidents have been documented and confirmed that New Delhi is closely monitoring the unfolding developments.
