New Delhi: The year 2025 is coming to an end tomorrow, and the Prime Minister took to LinkedIn to share his thoughts on how the country has progressed this year. In a post on X in which he shared the link to his post on LinkedIn, PM Modi gave the caption, "India has boarded the Reform Express! 2025 witnessed pathbreaking reforms across various sectors, which have added momentum to our growth journey. They will also enhance our efforts to build a Viksit Bharat."
What did PM Modi say about India in 2025?
PM Modi's post on LinkedIn opened with the lines, "India has emerged as the centre of global attention. This is due to the innovative zeal of our people. Today, the world sees India with hope and confidence. They appreciate the manner in which the pace of progress has been accelerated with next-generation reforms, which are cross-sectoral and amplify the nation’s growth potential."
Hailing India's journey on the 'Reform Express', he said that it is driven by "India’s demography, our young generation and the indomitable spirit of our people." He added, "2025 will be remembered as a year for India when it focused on reforms as a continuous national mission, building on the ground covered over the past 11 years. We modernised institutions, simplified governance, and strengthened the foundations for long-term, inclusive growth."
Reforms that PM Modi referred to
PM Modi referred to some reforms to highlight India's Reform Express by mentioning GST reform, in which a two-slab structure of 5% and 18% has been implemented, the relief provided to the middle class in the Income Tax and the boost provided to small and medium businesses in the country.
He also mentioned the 100% FDI Insurance reform, Securities Market Reform, Maritime and Blue Economy Reforms, Jan Vishwas, labour reforms, diversified and expanded markets for Indian products, Nuclear Energy Reforms, Viksit Bharat- G RAM G Act, and several educational reforms.
He concluded the post by saying, "These reforms are aimed towards building a prosperous and self-reliant India. Building a Viksit Bharat is the polestar of our development trajectory. We will continue pursuing the reform agenda in the coming years."
