NDA Unveils Bihar Sankalp Patra: Promises 1 Crore Jobs, Women Empowerment, and Free Electricity
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has unveiled its Bihar manifesto, titled Sankalp Patra, outlining ambitious promises focused on employment, empowerment, and development for the state. A central pledge is the creation of one crore government jobs, complemented by the establishment of mega skill centres in every district to boost youth employability.
The manifesto also prioritises womens empowerment, offering financial support of up to ₹10 lakhs for women and economically weaker families. Farmers are assured a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP). Additionally, the NDA has committed to providing 125 units of free electricity, citing increased power generation capacity as a key enabler for this initiative.
Speaking on the manifesto, Cabinet Minister Nitin Nabin highlighted its realistic and data-driven approach, contrasting it with the "unrealistic" promises of the INDIA alliance. He affirmed NDA's commitment to inclusive development, epitomised by the Jeevika programme and policies benefiting all sections of society under the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. The alliance aims to foster an Atmanirbhar Bihar, strengthening the states economy and curbing outward migration.
