The News9 Global Summit, a much-anticipated international event, recently convened in Stuttgart, Germany, bringing together an influential assembly of policymakers, business leaders, and thought leaders. This second edition of the summit aimed to foster discussions and forge a path forward in the dynamic global landscape of trade, technology, and innovation.

Germany stands as India's largest trading partner within the European Union, which, as a bloc, represents India's largest trading partner globally. A central theme of the discussions revolved around the potential Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the EU.
This proposed agreement is seen as transformational, with estimates suggesting it could double current trade figures from €120 billion to an impressive €240 billion within five years. Maroš Šefčovič, the European Unions Trade Commissioner and a key figure in the FTA negotiations, was among the prominent voices contributing to the discussions.
