Sachin Tendulkar Attributes 2011 World Cup Win to Sathya Sai Babas Blessings
Sachin Tendulkar, speaking at the centenary celebration of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, alongside Prime Minister Modi and CM Naidu, shared personal recollections of Babas influence, particularly regarding Indias 2011 Cricket World Cup triumph.
Tendulkar described how, knowing it would be his final World Cup, emotions and expectations were exceptionally high. During a training camp in Bengaluru, Tendulkar received a special book sent by Sathya Sai Baba.
This gesture, he stated, brought him immediate confidence and inner strength, transforming the book into his constant companion throughout the tournament. Following Indias victory against Sri Lanka in Mumbai, Tendulkar firmly attributed the success to the blessings of well-wishers, gurus, and primarily, Baba.
He expressed that Babas presence reassured him during challenges on the field, fostering a fearless approach. Tendulkar concluded by expressing his gratitude and belief in Babas continued guidance for health and happiness.
