Udhayanidhi Stalin Reaffirms Tamil Nadus Stand Against Hindi Imposition

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has reiterated the states unwavering stance against Hindi imposition, declaring that the three-language formula will not be implemented.

Speaking at the birth centenary of SI Murasu Nagore E.M. Hanifa, Stalin accused the Union government of pressuring Tamil Nadu through the National Education Policy and withholding ₹2,000 crore in education funds.

Stalin asserted that Tamil Nadu would never accept Hindi, even if faced with significantly larger financial incentives, stating, "even ₹10,000 crore will not make us accept Hindi." He affirmed the states commitment to its long-standing two-language policy to safeguard Tamil identity and linguistic rights.

The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that culture and language are non-negotiable and urged the public to resist any attempts at linguistic imposition.
