Why ‘peace maker’ Trump attacked Nigeria on Christmas?
The US miliary targeted Islamic State (IS) terrorists in Nigeria. The US Strikes were carried out after the terrorist targeted Christians in the region. Trump claimed that the strikes were launched on his orders and hit IS terrorists operating in northwest Nigeria.
The strikes followed the vicious killing of innocent Christians "not seen for many years, and even centuries". Trump added that he had "warned" the terrorists about the consequences if they did not stop attacking innocents.
Under Intl. Religious Freedom Act, US designated Nigeria as a "country of particular concern". US also announced visa restrictions on Nigerians linked to killings of Christians.
