New Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday announced the full schedule of the under-19 men's ODI World Cup 2026. After facing criticism for keeping arch-rivals India and Pakistan in the same group in earlier ICC events, the global governing body has put the traditional rivals in different groups which cancels the potential chance of their group stage encounter.

The marquee tournament would be played in Zimbabwe and Namibia from January 15 to February 6, 2026. As many as 16 teams will be in action at the high-ticket event which has been divided into groups of four. All the teams will play a total of 41 matches amongst themselves with the spectacle being held for 23 days.

Meanwhile, India and the USA will open the tournament with Zimbabwe, Scotland, Tanzania and the West Indies also in action. India has been put in Group A and Pakistan in Group B which means they won't meet each other in the initial parts of the tournament.

After the group stage, the top three teams from all the four groups will form two separate groups  of six each in the Super Six stage. The top two teams from both the groups will play the semifinals. Also, reserved day has been kept for both the semifinals and the final which will be played at the Harare Sports Club.
