New Delhi: Pakistan beat South Africa by 7 wickets in the third and final ODI match to win the series 2-1. By virtue of this victory, Pakistan registered their first-ever ODI series victory against South Africa at home by chasing the low target of 144 runs in just 25.1 overs.

The Men in Green now have a three-series winning streak, having emerged victorious in four of the last five ODI series against them. Skipper Matthew Breetzke also added 16 runs to the meagre total while the other players in the line-up succumbed in front of a disciplined bowling line-up from the hosts. During the chase, Saim Ayub top-scored for the side with 77 runs while Mohammed Rizwan remained unbeaten on 32 runs. Babar Azam failed to put up a good show again managing only 27 runs in Pakistan's innings.
