New Delhi: Team India's players continue to rise in the ICC Rankings, with Virat Kohli closing in on becoming the No.1 ODI batter. He moved to the second position in the ICC ODI rankings and is just eight points behind his teammate Rohit Sharma.
New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell and Afghanistan batter Ibrahim Zadran slipped to No.3 and No.4, respectively. Kohli climbed to the No.2 spot following a brilliant ODI series against South Africa. He was named Player of the Series after India clinched the three-match series 2-1. He smashed 302 runs at an average of 151 and a strike rate of 117.05, including two centuries and one fifty.
